Volunteers are vital to our mission of raising money for Habitat for Humanity and diverting materials from our landfills.  Volunteering at Habitat ReStores is fun and makes a difference to our community.  We have shifts that can fit your busy schedule, for individuals or for your group. 

Our Volunteers assist with:

  • Sorting received items
  • Inspection and repair
  • Assembly
  • Pricing
  • Merchandising
  • Maintaining a safe, clean & orderly store environment
  • Loading & unloading trucks

Volunteer Positions Available:

  1. ReStore Team Member - involves customer service, stocking and organizing shelves.  (Light physical effort required.)
  2. Office Administration - office volunteers perform a variety of administrative tasks
  3. Warehouse and Yard Assistant - involves unloading truck, moving heavier stock around store and customer carryout.  (Heavier physical activity, lifting 50-75 pounds.)
  4. Driver's Assistant (Heavier physical activity, lifting 50-75 pounds.)

Habitat for Humanity
is a nice sort of cause,
It builds houses for families,
And deserves an applause.

ReStore recycles materials,
That people would throw away
Other people will come in,
And what they find, will make their day.

Funny things happen,
At the ReStore.
There are so many laughs,
And so much more.

So come to the ReStore,
It is guaranteed fun,
There is so much to look at,
Till the day is done.
