2011 Golf Tournament

June 22nd at Bear Creek Golf Club

Habitat for Humanity – Huronia held its fifth annual Golf Tournament on Wednesday, June 22nd, once again at the popular Bear Creek Golf Club near Barrie.

As a long-standing supporter of Habitat for Humanity – Huronia, Global Electric Electronic Processing Inc. (GEEP) joined us in hosting our event with all the proceeds committed to Habitat.  Once again we offered both an 18 hole course and a 9 hole course for those who prefer a shorter game.

We are very pleased to announce that we made just over $35,000 as a result of the tournament.  We wish to thank the golfers, our sponsors, Bear Creek Golf Club, the Golf Committee and the volunteers who came out to help with the event.  Much of Habitat – Huronia’s support comes through sponsors and supporters who are committed to making a difference in their community by investing time, energy, and financial resources to meet the housing needs of low-income families throughout the Simcoe County.
