From build sites and ReStores to events and office support, there's a volunteer role waiting for you.
Help build safe, decent, and affordable homes across Simcoe County & South Georgian Bay—no experience required. Learn new skills, work as a team, and support local families.
Locations: Barrie, Innisfil, Alliston, Essa, Angus, Wasaga Beach, Collingwood, Springwater, Oro-Medonte, Simcoe County and surrounding areas.

Support one of our ReStores in Barrie, Alliston, or Collingwood through:
- Customer service
- Sorting and pricing donations
- Organizing and merchandising shelves
- Assisting on truck deliveries/pick-ups
- Display setup and light assembly work

Requirements:
- Certified safety shoes (can be provided if needed)
- Ability to lift 20 lbs and stand for extended periods
- Comfortable following 2–3 step instructions
- 1-hour orientation required
- Minimum 80 hours to receive a letter of reference
Be part of a hands-on team that carefully removes kitchens, appliances, doors, and fixtures from donor homes to resell in our ReStores.
Perfect for those who enjoy physical work, using tools, or learning trade-related skills.
Requirements:
- Comfortable using tools and working in a team
- Lift 25 lbs, stand for long periods
- Weekday availability (minimum 4 hours/shift)
- Criminal reference check
- Certified safety shoes
- Orientation attendance required

Please note: While Angus is part of our service area, we do not currently operate a ReStore in that location.
